Temprakon®

Temprakon® is some of our most innovative products. More than 25 years ago, we developed the world’s first duvet – with active temperature regulation. The technology is based on NASA research, and we have also been recognized by NASA for the use of space technology in our Temprakon® products. The technology was originally developed for astronauts’ spacesuits, so that they can maintain an even temperature during their spacewalks. It is the same material that we use in the spring of our pillows, as well as in both the spring and filling in the ZONE duvets with TempraDown. We call it TempraCool or PCM (Phase Changing Material) – and it has the property of collecting or releasing heat to achieve an even temperature. The most common cause of a poor night’s sleep is an uneven body temperature – meaning that you either get too hot and sweat, or get too cold and freeze. With Temprakon® duvets and pillows you can achieve an even temperature – all night long. We continue to develop the original products, and we are now on the 4th generation of the duvet.
